Margarita anyone?!
Margaritas are a CLASSIC cocktail that many people love, ourselves included! In fact, they’re typically both of our go-to drinks of choice! We’re usually all about a classic, lime margarita; However, this spin on the classic just hits right sometimes. If you're looking to spice up your margarita game, adding pomegranate to the mix can create a whole new flavor experience.
Here's a recipe for a delicious pomegranate margarita that you can make at home:
Ingredients:
2 oz tequila
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz pomegranate juice
1 oz triple sec
1/2 oz agave nectar or simple syrup
Salt (optional)
Lime wedge (optional)
Pomegranate seeds (optional)
Instructions:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. The one pictured is from West Elm!
Add tequila, lime juice, pomegranate juice, triple sec, and agave nectar to the shaker.
Shake the mixture well.
If desired, rim a glass with salt by rubbing the rim with a lime wedge and dipping it in salt.
Add ice to the glass if desired.
Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge and pomegranate seeds, if desired.
